How do you love me...

When you're tryin' to control me?

Love is so free!

But you refuse to let me be!

You want to cage me!

Make me yo' prisoner!

I love me so I'mma free myself from yo' restrictions!

My love is not enough for you!;  You prefer a prisoner!

I showed you the best part of me!

I never tried to trap you!

You too addicted to embrace what I have to offer!

I was forced to go!;  You refused to let me go!

You think the only way is to control & make me a prisoner!

You always blamed me for yo' short-comings & downfalls!

You penalized me & made my love criminal!;...

...Cause I chose to love me & refused to allow you to abuse me!

You trampled my love & ruined my reputation!

All I can say is bye & have a good life!

I promise myself to never go back!

I freed myself from yo' control grip!

You couldn't level up (to become a decent person) so you pushed me down!

Made it hard for me to get back up!

Now I'm not around...

Tell me who gonna love you?

You'll never come across another me!

I was yo' once in a lifetime blessing!

(But you couldn't get right!)

(You couldn't act right!)

Tried to make pure love yo' prisoner!

All because you got control issues!

But you'll never have another chance to make me yo' prisoner!

I'm free as a bird!;  Now I flap my wings since no longer caged in!

I'm Finally Free!
